The Strategy and Policy Advisory Committee (SPAC) focuses on strategic and national initiatives related to global and domestic policy developments and events. Wherever possible this subject matter is then assigned by the Board to one of the ASISA technical board committees for further work. In certain instances, it may be necessary to set up a task team with the relevant expertise to resource a specific project. The ASISA Board Exco represents the core membership of this committee.

Key Focus Areas

• Unlocking growth and employment through infrastructure investment (water and the grid roll-out) and other initiatives such as industrial strategy.
• Representation of ASISA members on economic and social policy structures related to the above.
• Social security reform, which includes retirement and National Health Insurance.
• Facilitating the crowding in of capital through appropriate structures and instruments.
