“Over our first 10 years, the ASISA Foundation has, through enabling legislation and optimal structuring, grown from a concept into an extremely powerful vehicle for facilitating change in the lives of ordinary people. None of this would have been possible without our partnerships. When people come together to collaborate in the interest of the common good, powerful and positive things can happen.”

Financial education is a powerful tool for social and economic empowerment. It can change the trajectory of people’s lives – and not only their life, but the lives of those around them as well. The infinite impact of our work is seen in the people who have participated in the ASISA Foundation’s programmes, where they have developed financial capabilities that have enabled them to participate in the economy and become catalysts for so much more in their world.
The ASISA Foundation structure facilitates a simple and cost-effective vehicle to enable members to comply with the Financial Sector Codes (FSC) requirements to spend 0.4%-0.5% of NPAT on CFE. Grant contributions / donations made to support Consumer Financial Education (CFE) or Socio-Economic Development (SED) will facilitate immediate 100% FSC points scoring.
Since inception, our programmes have reached beneficiaries across all provinces, consistently achieving knowledge and skills transfer, attitudinal shifts and positive behaviour change.
